L.A. Logan is Lynnell Logan, born and raised in Topeka Kansas. Her stepdad was in the military so they moved around a lot, and because of that, she stayed with her maternal grandmother. Lynnell went to Tucson high school in Tucson, Arizona, for part of her sophomore year and all of her senior year. She attended Highland Park High school in Topeka, Kansas, her freshman year, part of her sophomore and all of her junior year.

Lynnell has eight siblings, Taiwo, and Namona - Little Rock, AR, LaTonya - Fayetteville GA, Delron - Columbus OH, Vanessa - Roanoke VA, Raquel and Rodney - Topeka KS and Morocco - Kellen TX.

Lynnell has two children, Doneysha and Jayden and an old English bulldog named Kapone. She enjoys reading, writing, and watching football and basketball.

Prior to moving to Arkansas, Lynnell was very active in her church. She taught Sunday school, sung in the choir, served on the Hospitality Committee, Pastor and Wife Anniversary committee, and Sunshine Band. What brought her the most joy in her service in church was that she served as a personal assistant to the Pastor’s wife and the Mother’s Board President.

Lynnell attended Pima Community College in Tucson, AZ, as well as Washburn University and Friends University, both in Topeka KS.

Lynnell started writing by keeping a journal of experiences that she and others have had. She has worked in the insurance industry for over ten years and is currently working toward her Bachelor's degree. Her passion is to become a full time writer and one day write a screenplay.

She loves to travel and spend time with her family. She has made NW Arkansas her home.
